In one of his articles, Dr S G Dani of TIFR, Mumbai & much more has been written by Dr J N Kapur, New Delhi in his book The Truth About "So Called" Swamiji's Vedic Mathematics (About 200 pages only on its criticism). Dr Dani, in some of his articles published in well know newspapers says :

" Neither Vedic Nor Mathematics / Stop This Fraud On Our Children "

In reality this is a document signed by more than 100 "so called" great stalwarts. In September, 2001, we along with Vishwa Punarnirman Sangh, Nagpur, organised following workshops on Vedic Maths :

1) 3 workshops in Pune attended by approx. 600 participants for all age levels
2) 5 workshops in Nagpur attended by approx. 2000 participants for all age groups

Dr Dani's above statement was flashed & re-flashed between all participants including school students / teachers / principals all of whom only felt amused & laughed away; all of them had nothing else to say, but to ridicule such Psuedo-Intellectuals making tall claims. Virtually all the participants in Pune & Nagpur have given us written statements & short notes, about 1000, saying that they are quite excited by the multi-dimentional usefulness of Vedic Maths getting rid of the Maths Phobia existing worldwide because there is no new R & D in the field of modern mathematics after 1930. We are more than happy & grateful to all such "so called" country's great Mathematicians & Scientists who have been doing our work by accelerating the process of promoting & publicising Swamiji's Vedic Maths across the world. I have no words to give expression to what we have in mind. Believe me, had they not criticised our eyes would never have opened & now we enjoy to see Vedic Maths in country's mainstream. Whether or not it gets introduced into country's school curriculum it does not make much of difference because if at all it get into schools it will stand alone on its merit.

Dear fellow-devotees of Vedic Maths

Since becoming semi-retired recently I am taking up Vedic Maths on full-time basis. This October 2005 am learning and teaching a 10 week course in Vedic Maths in Hitchin, Herts U.K.
It is being sponsored by the North Hertfordshire College (tel: +44(1462-424323, email: community@ nhc.ac.uk quoting code: DK029) and the North Herts Minority Ethnic Forum. Fee for the course is £50, under 18's accompanied by a paying adult can enrol for free.
Looking forward to meeting other devotees,
Jiten Bhardwaj
