THE
LIVING LIBRARY: ARCHIVE & INTERNET FORUM
STATEMENT OF INTENT
The Sacred Science Institute is a non-denominational, non-sectarian, and non-academic Research Institute dedicated to the Rediscovery and Application of Sacred Science in all fields of Knowledge, Technology and Evolution. The Sacred Science Institute is intent upon making accessible the Wisdom Traditions of all cultures, philosophical and spiritual traditions, so as to promote understanding and communication based upon the core teachings and principles of these Great Traditions. We feel that many cultural barriers may be overcome by developing an understanding of the Laws of Nature, and the Universe, and by finding the correspondences between the representational modes of symbolism used by groups and individuals separated by Space & Time. We feel that deciphering the keys to these modes of representation will clearly reveal the inherent Unity of the truths expressed by the great Visionaries and Teachers of every Time and Tradition.
To accomplish this goal, the Institute has compiled a library upon these subjects of over 10,000 volumes, the best and rarest of which we select, organize and make available to the world. Our catalog maintains an extensive selection of extremely rare works on Mystical Cosmology, Sacred Science, and Natural Philosophy, and is engaged in a number of Research and Translation projects intent upon bringing an Awareness and, most importantly, various Applications of this Ancient Wisdom Tradition to the Modern World. This Tradition has the potential to inspire a Modern Renaissance of Value and Meaning desperately needed NOW, at the Dawn of the Information Revolution!
We are currently developing an extensive Internet Cosmological Resource Center, with bibliographies, biographies, articles, web links, contact information, research projects, translation projects, online libraries, etc. We shall expand the Sacred Science Institute to become a primary reference source for any information in the fields of Metaphysics and Cosmology. We provide a new non-academic source of content for the Information Revolution, and to make known alternative theories, and world views, which if appreciated and applied could inspire a New Wisdom Renaissance, and preferably, a Wisdom Revolution rather than an Information Revolution.
THE LIVING LIBRARY
ARCHIVE & INTERNET FORUM
We consider this web site to be a Living Library, the beginnings
of which are expressed through the database listing Authors, Titles, and Detailed
Contents of books, as well as through Research Archives which will be continuously
developed. Through these mediums, we hope to bring insightful information to
the world, and to assist researchers and visionary individuals to communicate
with their peers and interest groups, in order to share their wisdom with the
world. We think this will help to build greater communication and interest in
these wonderful fields of Ancient & Universal Wisdom. We will expand this
Archive and Forums indefinitely, covering every field of research and application.
For the most current archive see this link: THE
LIVING LIBRARY
We encourage intelligent individuals working in these fields to contribute articles and research papers to The Archive. Please email all submissions as word-processor files, preferably in HTML Format, though most formats will do, to institute@sacredscience.com. We are developing a Journal of Sacred Science, Quadrivium, to inform interested parties of new additions to The Archive. All copyrights remain with the authors, and there are no restrictions of any kind on an author's use of their own material elsewhere or in the future. We hope that the exposure gained by inclusion in the Living Library will help researchers and authors to find a greater audience and further publication opportunities for their material. All authors are free to include any form of contact information with their article, to remain anonymous, or to receive feedback through automatic email responses in order to maintain their privacy and select those with whom they choose to interact further.
The Forums will be developed to help communicate intelligent ideas between individuals with similar interests in an ongoing, topic-specific manner which will likewise be completely archived. We encourage suggestions of topics for Forums, and when we have enough interest in any topic we will add another. We also invite specialists in different fields to become the Forum Editors in their field, to help sort and maintain the quality of the information posted in each field.
We
take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal
information.
Any personal information received will only be used to fill your order, and
communicate directly with you.
We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone.

ABOUT THE BOOKS
At the present time most of our titles, unless otherwise specified, are facsimile research reprints printed on high gloss acid free paper, with a laminated linen paper cover and velum back, bound by spiral bindings which easily fold over the back. Where there are essential color plates in books, we reproduce then in color to preserve the presentation in its original.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY:
Since our books are Printed On Demand, which is what allows us to make available
such a wide variety of titles, we DO NOT keep back-stock of any of our titles,
and EVERY ORDER IS A SPECIAL ORDER, which is printed on demand. Due to this,
we are unable to accept returns because we do not maintian backstock of publications,
so please be sure you want each title before Special Ordering it, because once
we have printed it, we can not take it back unless it is damaged. If you book
is damaged, we will replace it for no fee. If you book is lost, we will also
replace it. If your book is confirmed as delivered with the Postal Service at
the address you gave us, but you claim to have not received it, please contact
us and we will determine the next steps to take depending upon circumstances.
Our productions process sometimes causes some orders to have a delay of about a week or more for the production of a new master for the title, but generally most orders go out within several days. As a title becomes more popular and the production costs are reduced, we reduce the price of the title in accord with the increased interest.
We are continually exploring new methods of publishing to provide a better product at a cheaper cost, such as electronic publishing, searchable CD ROM libraries of topics, downloadable books, and an online library. All benefits developed by these means will be passed on to the customer, and any customer who purchases a book will recieve free upgrades to electronic versions as they are produced. We encourage the contribution of any ideas or information along these lines to speed up this process.
PRICING
The pricing of this material is based upon value of the content, and a solid relative scale of information importance may be gauged by price comparison, with the added consideration of the size and production expense of the book. Funds from the sales of these reprints are used for the systematic transference of individual titles into higher quality editions and Electronic Medium for preservation in the Living Library. Prices represent initial costs of low volume publication, & are reduced as volume increases. This allows us to offer a large selection of titles even when few people order each title. We have several hundred further titles which we hope to release as interest warrants.
Another consideration taken into the pricing is the rarity of the material. Many of the titles in our catalog could not be found for any price, they are so rare, and generally the cost of the reprint ranges from 1/4 to 1/10 the price of obtaining an original. Most of these titles are in print by no other source, and when we find a source with a better production of the material we will try to add it to our catalog, or refer you to it. As a certain titles become increasingly popular, we have plans to begin producing high quality limited collectors editions, of the best and most desired works.
ORDER FULFILLMENT & SHIPPING
Orders are all PRINTED ON DEMAND are generally filled within 1 week though we always say to allow for 2 weeks until shipping, as sometimes we have a long line of orders. We ask your patience in this small waiting period, for it is the time needed for the production and fulfillment of titles. Shipments are sent US Post, PRIORITY MAIL, as it is the fastest shipping for the best price, and their International delivery is the only options available anymore, thre no longer is surface shipping.
Shipping prices vary and it is difficult to establish a consistent
standard, due to difference in variations of the size of different books and
courses. The ecommerce system gives an ESTIMATE of shipping costs, which we
will correct BEFORE PROCESSING and after determining the weight of the package,
the destination country, and the equivalent costs through the US Postal Priority
Mail option. We have no desire to profit from shipping charges, and adjust shipping
charges to our cost. The locations to which we have shipped, range from Russia,
China, Australia and Singapore as the most expensive, to Japan, Pacific Rim
countries, and Continental Europe next, Canada and Mexico following, with the
US obviously the cheapest.
GENERAL SHIPPING INDICATIONS:
Our electronic store automatically adds 10% of sale for shipping, which is often incorrect depending upon size of order, weight of book, and shipping destination, so the actual shipping price given by the website will generally be incorrect, however this amount will be adjusted according to the guidelines listed below for weight of shipment, small orders, large orders, expensive specialty items, and destinations. Understand that the shipping on the receipt from the secure store is an estimation, and will be different from the final shipping charges, which will be either increased to the minimum, or reduced from potentially overestimated amounts. The Post Office continually increases its shipping rates and we adjust our pricing accordingly to our costs as determined by them. Please note, that the US Postal Service no longer provides the discontinued international Surface Mail, the ONLY OPTION FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS IS PRIORITY MAIL OR EXPRESS MAIL, so rates are higher than they used to be, particularly across the world. We apologize for this, but it is beyond our control.
IMPORTANT NOTE: IN MARCH 2013 THE USPS HAD A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN INTERNATIONAL POSTAL RATES. OUR GENERALLY MINIMUM SHIPMENT IS NOW $60.00 INTERNATIONALLY.
UNITED STATES: Minimum Shipping $8.00 (CA only) to $13.00 for most US Priority shipping ), $2.00 for each title thereafter, with large orders charged according to cost of shipping. WE DO NOT SHIP MEDIA OR 1ST CLASS MAIL, ONLY PRIORITY MAIL.
CANADA & MEXICO: Minimum Shipping $40.00 for the first title, $5.00 for each title thereafter, with large orders charged according to cost of shipping.
EUROPE, SOUTH AMERICA. PACIFIC RIM, AUSTRALIA, MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA, & FAR EAST: Minimum Shipping $60.00 for a Flat Rate Priority Box which will hold 1-5 books., $80.00 for a Large Flat Rate Box, which will hold 4-10 books, depending upon size. 10% for everything over $150.00, or approximately $7.00 for each additional book, with bulk and specialty item orders charged according to cost of shipping, insurance, etc. The printed amount for residents of this zone will NOT refelct the TRUE shipping price, but is only an estimate for US residents. We correct ALL shipping rates acroding to the Terms here when the order comes through to us. You will NOT be charged the shipping in the eCommerce system automatically, we will correct according to size, weight and destination.
PROBLEM SHIPPING COUNTRIES & LOST
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Unfortunately, there are a number of countries that we have had continuous
problem with having our shipments actually delivered, so we have had to develop
new policies for these countries. Italy, Greece, India, and other less technological
countries often lose the packages, and do not allow any tracking. If we ship
to these countries and the package is lost, we will send another, but the customer
must pay for each additional attempt at shipping, and for the printing costs
of the extra copies of books sent, which is marginal. With this consideration
we will keep trying with any order until it arrives, but we have eaten the cost
of so many of these orders, that we just can't do it anymore.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express & Discover. We also accept PayPal, Wire Transfers, Bank Checks or Money Orders, but we are required to hold shipments paid by personal or company checks until they have cleared. Just make sure you add everything up correctly, including shipping and tax, if in California of 7.75%. See mailing address for mailing information.
